What is Coaching?
Coaching means unlocking a person’s potential to maximize their performance by helping them to learn - rather than teaching them, with the coach being a facilitator of learning.
We in Healios Life believe that good coaches possess the knowledge and deep understanding that the individual always has the answer to their problems, still the coach can comprehend that people may need help in finding that particular answer.
Coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the ‘here and now’ rather than on the distant past or future. This can be applied to individuals, organizations, executive managers and human resources accordingly.
There is a huge difference between teaching someone and helping them to learn. In coaching, fundamentally, the coach is helping the individual to improve their own performance: in other words, helping them to learn.

What is the Target Audience?
Each and every one of us. Coaching will benefit you by helping you to set goals you really want to achieve, by distinguishing between what you could do, should do, ought to do and really want to do. When you create an ideal goal - something you really want – you are more likely to take action towards achieving it.
What are the Applications of Coaching?
Coaching can be most effective in addressing these three areas:
- Solving problems.
- Developing and achieving long-term goals.
- Increased openness to personal learning and development. Increased ability to identify solutions to specific work-related issues. Greater ownership and responsibility. Development of self-awareness. Improving performance.

How does Coaching affect our Personal Life and Relationships?
Life coaching is the process of helping people identify and achieve personal goals through developing skills and attitudes that lead to self-empowerment. Life coaching generally deals with issues such as work-life balance and career changes, and often occurs outside the workplace setting.
Healios Life personal development coaches, also referred to as life coaches, are professionals who specialize in helping people achieve specific goals and overcome obstacles to personal growth. Goals may be related to any area of personal development, including relationships, business, finance, or health and wellness.
Relationship coaching is also the application of coaching to personal and business relationships.
Coaching helps clients let go of their own painful thoughts, and create their own relationship vision. This means clients are able to enjoy a satisfying relationship even without their partner's participation in the coaching process. Relationship coaches also work with people who are not yet in a relationship.
How Many Coaching Sessions do you Need?
8 - 12 life coaching sessions
For time-critical goals like these, you should aim to meet with your coach once a week as a minimum and preferably twice a week for the first week or two. So, you're looking at around 8 to 12 life coaching sessions in total.
Once you're making progress and keeping up your motivation, you can meet with our Healios Life coach every two to three weeks so that you have plenty of time to work on your assignments between sessions.
How Long Does a Coaching Session Last?
A life coach session can last anytime from five minutes to two or three hours. Most coaching sessions probably fall in the 30 to 60-minute range. But some coaches offer quick laser sessions, while others prefer longer, marathon sessions that last two hours or more.
